[origin: EP0029193A1] In a device for producing inlaid or sculptured knitted fabrics in linear knitting machines, the yarn guiding tubes (GF) are rigidly supported, in predetermined numbers, on two rod-like elements (25) effective to be moved longitudinally of the knitting machine. Thus, as the rod-like elements (25) are operated, the yarn guiding tubes (GF) are contemporaneously moved thereby reducing to a minimum the yarn locating and supplying errors. In this way an inlaid fabric is obtained of very high fineness and quality.
