The invention relates to the wood-saving production of board- lamellae from round-wood, preferably for use in glued wood construction, e.g. for the production of glued wood profiled beams. During this process, the waste due to the rounding of the tree should be kept as low as possible and, in particular, it should also be possible, after sorting to a predetermined top diameter, to saw up and edge round-wood of relatively small diameter in accordance with a predetermined cutting pattern. The method according to the invention is carried out in such a way that the sorted round-wood is sawn up in accordance with a cutting pattern which is predetermined according to the top diameter and differs for each diameter only directly after removal of the bark, and dried, and in each case two longitudinal board edges to be connected and having the rounding of the tree are profiled within their overlapping portion and glued, the complementary profiling being performed in accordance with preselected factors or factors determined by measurement and/or calculation in accordance with a profiling pattern which is optimum for the particular factors. Die Erfindung befasst sich mit der holzsparenden Herstellung von Brettlamellen aus Rundholz, vorzugsweise zur Verwendung im Holzleimbau, z.B. zur Herstellung verleimter Holzprofilträger. Hierbei soll der durch die Baumrundung bedingte Abfall so gering als möglich gehalten werden und es sollen vor allem auch Rundhölzer kleineren Durchmessers, nach Sortierung auf vorbestimmte Zopfdurchmesser gemäss einem vorbestimmten Schnittbild zersägt und besäumt werden. Das erfindungsgemässe Verfahren wird in der Weise durchgeführt, dass die sortierten Rundhölzer erst unmittelbar nach dem Entrinden nach einem entsprechend dem Zopfdurchmesser vorbestimmten, für jeden Durchmesser unterschiedlichen Schnittbild zersägt, getrocknet und jeweils zwei zu verbindende mit Baumrundung versehene Brett-Längskanten innerhalb ihres Überlappungsabschnitts profiliert und verleimt werden, wobei die komplementäre Profilierung gemäss vorgewählten oder durch Messung und/oder Berechnung bestimmten Faktoren gemäss einem für die betreffenden Faktoren optimalen Profilierungsbild. Gemäss einer wichtigen Ausgestaltung ist die Anordnung dabei derart getroffen, dass die Rundhölzer in Rinde während der Sortierung und Lagerung vor der Verarbeitung periodisch einer Wasserberieselung unterworfen werden, und dass die Rundhölzer in nicht getrocknetem Zustand eingeschnitten und die Brettkantenbearbeitung nach der Trocknung erfolgt.
