[origin: EP0029563A2] A fire barrier device on a wall passage opening for a rail-borne transport installation is described, the said device having a flap, which can be pivoted in the manner of a door, for closing the passage opening. As the flap is closed, a movable rail section of the transport installation has to be removed. A possibility for driving through which is reliable and stable for a long time, even for heavy transportation vehicles, on the one hand, and reliable and simple removal of the movable rail section on the other hand is achieved by the fact that the rail section (30) can be swivelled about a pivot (33) extending perpendicularly to the flap spindle (11) or is mounted displaceably by means of a guide or a lever, has a weight-driven motion and is connected via a coupling arrangement (36, 37, 38) to the flap (10). <IMAGE>
