Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0030052A1] 1. Projectile having a head (1) extended by a tubular tail (2) made up of two tubular telescopic parts (4, 5), the first (4) of which is solidary with the aforesaid head (1), being mainly constituted by an explosive charge, whilst the second one (5) may slide around the first part (4) of the tail, characterized in that the aforesaid first (4) and second (5) parts of the tail carry respectively a first (7, 8) and second (9, 10) parts of a chain of firing the aforesaid explosive charge and in that guiding means (11, 13) are distributed on the first (4) and second (5) parts of the tail (4, 5), in order to give them a determined angular position corresponding to their relative axial position, the aforesaid guiding means (11, 13) being constituted, one the one hand, by at least one groove (13) provided for in one part (4) of the tail and extending according to a generating line of same and, on the other hand, by at least one finger (11) carried by the other part (5) of the aforesaid tail, the end of the aforesaid groove (13) being prolonged by a curved groove (15) in the vicinity of the head (1), and a recess (17) being provided between the aforesaid curved groove (15) and head (1), this recess (17) being separated from the curved groove (15) by a partition wall (18), the aforesaid finger (11) fracturing the aforesaid wall in order to come into the aforesaid recess (17) if during the releasing of the projectile an obstacle is being encountered.
