Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0030061A2] The bread-slicer has a spring-loaded pusher moving the bread along knives as they oscillate vertically. An actuator in opposition to the pusher spring returns the pusher automatically to make room for insertion of the next loaf. The pusher is held in this position until the machine is again operated. This actuator comprises a motor-driven spindle between the frame and outer end of the spring.
