[origin: WO8002837A1] Process for removing the various amino-acids of the keratine of hairs which comprises, after hydrolysis of the hairs by hydrochloric acid and removal of fatty acids with a chlorinated solvent, the removal of amino-acids in the following order: first cystine, then arginine in the form of benzyleden-arginine, leucine in the form of dileucine hydrochlorate and tyrosine. Finally the glutamic acid, serine and threonine may be removed.

Procede d'extraction des divers aminoacides de la keratine a partir des cheveux et des poils qui consiste, apres hydrolyse des cheveux ou poils par l'acide chlorhydrique et extraction des acides gras par un solvant chlore, a extraire les aminoacides dans l'ordre suivant: d'abord la cystine, puis l'arginine sous forme de benzylidene-arginine, la leucine sous forme de chlorhydrate de dileucine et la tyrosine. On peut enfin extraire l'acide glutamique, la serine et la threonine.
