Wind-surfing device having a sail (5) which can be fastened to the surfboard (2) by means of a universal joint (7) and can be manipulated by the user by means of at least one handle bar (8, 9). The sail is held by a peripheral frame (6) which has a top end from which top frame parts and corresponding sail edges extend in a curved shape approximately down to the handle bar, from which bottom frame parts and the corresponding sail edges run towards one another back towards the universal joint. Different sail profiles can be set by means of an adjustable spacer (19) or tightening element. Finally, the sail can be in one piece or consist of a top sail and a bottom sail with a sight gap in between. <IMAGE>

Stehsegelgerät mit einem Segel (5), welches mit Hilfe eines Universalgelenkes (7) am Surfbrett (2) befestigbar ist und vom Benutzer mit Hilfe von mindestens einer Griffstange (8,9) gehandhabt wird. Das Segel wird von einem Umfangsrahmen (6) gehalten, der ein oberes Ende aufweist, von dem aus sich obere Rahmenteile und entsprechende Segelkanten bis etwa zur Griffstange bogenförmig erstrecken, von wo aus untere Rahmenteile und die entsprechenden Segelkanten wieder zum Universalgelenk hin aufeinander zu laufen. Mit Hilfe eines verstellbaren Distanzhalters (19) bzw. Spann-elementes lässt sich das Segel unterschiedlich profilieren. Das Segel kann schliesslich einstückig sein oder aus einem Obersegel und einem Untersegel mit einem dazwischen befindlichen Sichtspalt bestehen.
