[origin: WO8100019A1] A machine with free pistons comprising a frame, an inner moving assembly comprising a central cross bar and translatingly guided so as to effect a reciprocating motion along the frame axis and an outer moving assembly comprising two outer cross bars connected by at least one brace rod. The frame comprises a base (10) and a head (11) connected by at least one central monoblock structure. The inner moving assembly comprises four inner motor pistons movable along motor cylinders (15a-15d) arranged at the top of a rectangle and two compressor pistons sliding within the compressor cylinders (17a-17b) of which the axis pass outside said rectangle.

Machine a pistons libres comportant un bati, un equipage mobile interne comprenant une traverse centrale et guide en translation de facon a pouvoir se deplacer d'un mouvement alternatif le long de l'axe du bati et un equipage mobile externe comprenant deux traverses externes reliees par au moins un tirant. Le bati comporte un socle (10) et un sommier (11) relies par au moins une structure monobloc centrale. L'equipage mobile interne comprend quatre pistons moteurs internes deplacables le long des cylindres moteurs (15a-15d) disposes aux sommets d'un rectangle et deux pistons compresseurs coulissant dans des cylindres compresseurs (17a-17b) dont les axes passent hors du dit rectangle.
