[origin: WO8002829A1] Continuous spray overcap assembly of the type primarily used in conjunction with an aerosol dispenser. The overcap (1) has a substantially cup-shaped body for mounting on the top of an aerosol can (9) to protect an exposed valve stem (11) from accidental actuation during shipment and shelf storage. A valve actuation means (7) is disposed in the base (3) of the overcap (1) for cooperation with the valve stem (11). The overcap (1) may be removed and remounted on the aerosol container in an inverted position enabling the valve actuation means (7) to open the valve (11) to continuously dispense product until the overcap (1) is removed.

Un assemblage formant couvercle d'atomisation en continu est utilise conjointement a un aerosol. Le couvercle (1) possede un corps ayant sensiblement la forme d'un godet monte sur la partie superieure d'une bombe d'aerosol (9) pour proteger une tige de soupape (11) et en empecher le fonctionnement accidentel pendant le transport et le stockage. Des moyens d'actionnement de la soupape (7) sont disposes dans la base (3) du couvercle (1) cooperant avec la tige de soupape (11). Le couvercle (1) peut etre enleve et remonte sur le conteneur aerosol dans une position inversee permettant au moyen d'actionnement de la soupape (7) d'ouvrir la soupape (11) pour distribuer de maniere continue du produit jusqu'a ce que le couvercle (1) soit enleve.
