[origin: WO8100118A1] Plant for separating an aggregate of fibers comprised of agglomerations which may slide with respect to each other, by means of two pairs of driven rollers (9/10; 11/12), which form two pinching lines (m and n) for the agglomeration. The separation is effected because the two pairs of rollers are coupled kinematically by a flexible force transmission element (19) so that the displacement of a roller tandem (26) positionned in the path of the element (19) causes the relative rotation of one pair of rollers (11, 12) with respect to the other pair (9, 10). The aggregate pinched between the pinching lines m and n will be separated by said relative rotation of the pairs of rollers. This plant has the advantages to be simple and reliable and further it does not require any clutching means.

Installation de separation d'un agregat de fibres constitue par des agglomerats pouvant glisser l'un par rapport a l'autre, au moyen de deux paires de rouleaux (9/10; 11/12) entraines, qui constituent deux lignes de pincement (m et n) pour l'agglomerat. La separation est realisee grace au fait que les deux paires de rouleaux sont couplees cinematiquement par un element de transmission de force flexible (19) de maniere telle que le deplacement d'un tandem (26) de rouleaux se trouvant dans la trajectoire de l'element (19) provoque la rotation relative d'une paire de rouleaux (11, 12) par rapport a l'autre paire (9/10). L'agregat pince entre les lignes de pincement m et n sera separe par cette rotation relative des paires de rouleaux. Cette installation presente l'avantage d'etre simple et fiable et avant tout ne necessite aucun embrayage.
