[origin: WO8100263A1] Process and device for producing a slubbing of fibers which may be drawn from a hank formed of endless filaments; the hank is pressed to be worked on subsequently. The sector of band wherein the points of the fibers project due to the cutting is introduced inside the band. Thereby the adverse effect the projecting fiber points are thus avoided. Particularly, the faults caused by the fiber points in finished products are eliminated, the loss of fibers in the machine room is reduced and, due to the reduced danger of the obstruction of hoppers conducting the fibers, the machine operation safety is increased.

Procede et dispositif pour produire une meche de fibres (23) pouvant etre etiree d'un echeveau forme de filaments sans fin; l'echeveau etant comprime pour etre travaille par la suite. Conformement a l'invention, le secteur de la bande, dans lequel les pointes des fibres font saillie par suite du decoupage, est introduit a l'interieur de la bande. De cette maniere, les effets desavantageux qui sont causes par les pointes des fibres faisant saillie, sont ainsi evitees. En particulier, les defectuosites causees par les pointes des fibres dans les produits termines, sont ecartes, les fuites de fibres dans la salle des machines sont reduites et par la diminution du danger d'engorgement des tremies conduisant les fibres, la securite de l'exploitation des machines est augmentee.
