[origin: EP0031970A1] A profiled hinge joint comprises joint wings designed in the form of profiled frame members. One joint wing is provided with a bead member (6) extending longitudinally with the frame member, the other joint wing has a partially open, cap-shaped flange (11) engaging the bead member; said joint wing likewise extends longitudinally with the frame member. The bead member (6) on the side remote from the frame member has been provided with a partially restricted part (18) and the cap-shaped flange (11) possesses a slot of a width such, that the bead member (6) is to be laterally inserted into the cap-shaped flange (11) with an angle outside the hinging field of both frame members.
