[origin: US4373144A] In an exemplary embodiment, a cathode cup for electron focusing has a groove-like cavity for the heater coil. The cathode cup is subdivided, approximately perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the heater coil into several parts which are insulated from one another, to which separate control potentials can be supplied.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Kathodenanordnung für eine Röntgenröhre mit einem Kathodentopf (6) zur Elektronenfokussierung, der eine nutartige Vertiefung (8) für die Heizwendel (7) aufweist. Der Kathodentopf (6) ist etwa senkrecht zur Längsrichtung der Heizwendel (7) in mehrere, voneinander isolierte Teile (14, 15, 16) aufgeteilt, denen getrennte Steuerpotentiale (Ug1, Ug2) zuführbar sind.
