[origin: US4318620A] The apparatus is constituted by a rotatable drum (1). The solid materials and the hot gases coming from a burner (6) flow in the same direction. The drum has an introduction zone (16), a transfer zone (17), an intermediate zone (18) and a zone (19) for hot mixing of aggregates and bituminous materials. The intermediate zone (18) has a first part in which lifting paddles (28) disposed on the inner wall of the drum (1) allow a continuous curtain of materials to be formed over the whole section of the drum (1) and a second part into which the solid materials degradable at high temperature are introduced. In this second part, the drum (1) has a second inner casing (31) coaxial with its outer casing (1), equipped inside with lifting paddles (32). The invention is particularly applicable to producing coated products for road use, from recycled materials.

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour la fabrication de produits enrobés bitumineux à partir d'agrégats, de bitume et de matières solides susceptibles de se dégrader à température élevée. Le dispositif est constitué par un tambour (1) rotatif. Les matériaux solides et les gaz chauds venant d'un brûleur (6) circulent dans le même sens. Le tembour comporte une zone d'introduction (16), une zone de transfert (17, une zone intermédiaire (18) et une zone de malaxage à chaud (19) des agrégats et des matières bitumineuses. La zone intermédiaire (18) comporte une première partie où des aubes releveuses (28) disposées sur la paroi interne du tambour (1) permettant la constitution d'un rideau continu de matériaux dans toute la section du tambour (1) et une deuxième partie où sont introduites les matières solides dégradables à haute température. Dans cette deuxième partie, le tambour (1) comporte une second enveloppe (31) interne coaxiale à son enveloppe externe (1), garnie intérieurement d'aubes releveuses (32). L'invention s'applique en particulier à la fabrication de produits enrobés pour usage routier, à partir de matériaux recyclés.
