Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0032473A1] 1. Pump comprising : an impervious casing (1) having an inlet pipe (2) and an outlet pipe (3) ; two walls (A, B) which are formed respectively from a rigid component (14, 11, 11B) on the periphery of which there is fixed the internal periphery of an elastic membrane (7, 7B), which, between them and the casing (1), delimit an intermediate compartment (6) contained between two compartments, namely an inlet compartment (4) and a delivery compartment (5), which communicate respectively with the pipes (2, 3) and which, by means of clack-valves (16A, 16B) with seats (11, 11B), only allow a fluid to pass from the inlet compartment (4) to the intermediate compartment (6) and from the latter (6) to the outlet compartment (5) ; and means (15, 15B, 19) for moving the walls (A, B) alternately away from and close to each other ; characterised in that the membranes (7, 7B) are fixed by means of their external periphery to the casing (1) which has, between the areas where the membranes (7, 7B) are fixed, recesses (17) which extend only between the membranes (7, 7B) so that the volume of the intermediate compartment (6) is reduced merely between the membranes (7, 7B).
