Fire barrier with a slide-like shut-off element (10) in front of a passage opening (2) through which rails (4) of a transport installation pass. The shut-off element (10) can be moved vertically and, on its narrow side, adjoining the passage opening (2), bears rail sections (16) which are in alignment with the rails (4) of the transport installation in the open position of the passage opening (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>

Feuerabschlußeinrichtung mit einem schieberartigen Absperrelement (10) vor einer Durchlaßöffnung (2), durch welche Schienen (4) einer Förderanlage hindurchführen. Das Absperrelement (10) ist senkrecht bewegbar und tragt an seiner Schmalseite benachbart der Durchlaßöffnung (2) Schienenabschnitte (16), die in der Offenstellung der Durchlaßöffnung zu den Schienen (4) der Förderanlage fluchten.
