The apparatus for feeding stock, such as metal strip (1), comprises a fixed gripper (4) and a movable gripper (5) for the purpose of alternately holding and releasing the strip (1). The means for feeding the movable gripper (5) comprise a winch (17) which rotates about an axis (X-X'), a connecting rod (19) being connected in an articulated fashion to the free end (18) of the winch (17) and to the movable gripper (5). The winch (17) is rotatably driven by a rack (23) carrying pistons (24) and (25) mounted in a sliding fashion in a jack body (26) which is supplied alternately by a hydraulic or pneumatic fluid. The application is especially for feeding metal strip to a cutting press. <IMAGE>

Le dispositif pour déplacer des produits en bobines ou en barres telles qu'une bande métallique (1) comprend une pince fixe (4) et une pince mobile (5) destinées à maintenir et à lâcher la bande (1) de façon alternative. Les moyens pour déplacer la pince mobile (5) comprennent une manivelle (17) tournant autour d'un axe (X-X') une bielle (19) étant liée de façon articulée à l'extrémité libre (18) de la manivelle (17) et à la pince mobile (5). La manivelle (17) est entraînée en rotation par une crémaillère (23) portant des pistons (24) et (25) montés de façon coulissante dans un corps de vérin (26) alimenté alternativement par un fluide hydraulique ou pneumatique. Application notaminent au déplacement d'une bande métallique vers une presse à découper.
