A foot protector, such as e.g. an insole, a disposable slipper, a floor mat, a bath mat or the like, consists of an absorbent and advantageously wet-strength paper fleece, e.g. made of wood cellulose, of a thickness of less than 1 mm, which is impregnated and/or printed with bactericides and/or fungicides known per se, as well as possibly air-freshening and/or odour-eliminating active substances. The active substances are used in a concentration of 20 - 200, advantageously approximately 50 - 100, mg per m<2>. In the slipper, the toe band consists of elastic natural fibre fleece which is stuck onto the underside of the sole.

Ein Fusschutz, wie z.B. eine Einlegesohle, ein Wegwerfpantoffel, eine Bodenmatte, ein Vorleger, oder dgl. besteht aus einem saugfähigen - und vorzugsweise nassfesten - Papiervlies,z.B. aus Holzzellulose, in einer Stärke von weniger als 1 mm, das mit an sich bekannten bakteriziden und/oder fungiziden, sowie gegebenenfalls lufterfrischenden und/oder geruchsvertilgenden Wirkstoffen imprägniert und/oder bedruckt ist. Die Wirkstoffe werden in einer Menge von 20- 200, vorzugsweise etwa 50 - 100 mg pro m2 angewendet. Beim Pantoffel besteht das Zehenband aus elastischem Naturfaservlies, das an der Unterseite der Sohle angeklebt ist.
