A track system having tracks (1) which are U-shaped in cross-section and guide spring-actuated toy vehicles (20-39). Over the course of the track, arcuate rising track pieces (10) are provided which guide the toy vehicle into the inverted position. Provided at the end of the arcuate track piece (10) are rails (18a) which are contacted by the wheels (e.g. 23a) of the vehicle (23), which is in the inverted position, with their running surfaces which are at the top in the normal position. The wheels (23a) which are driven in the same direction, cause the vehicle (23) to reverse its direction of travel. Using the same means, a reversal in the direction of travel is also possible for a vehicle which is to be turned from the inverted position to the normal position. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Bahnanlage mit im Querschnitt U-förmigen Bahnen (1), welche federgetriebene Fahrspielzeuge (20-39) führen. Im Verlauf der Bahn sind bogenförmig ansteigende Bahnstücke (10) vorgesehen, welche das Fahrspielzeug bis in die Rückenlage führen. Am Auslauf des bogenförmigen Bahnstückes (10) sind Schienen (18a) vorgesehen, auf welche die Räder (z. B. 23a) des in Rückenlage befindlichen Fahrzeuges (23) mit ihren in Normallage oberen Laufflächen aufsetzen. Die im gleichbleibenden Drehsinn angetriebenen Räder (23a) bewirken, daß das Fahrzeug (23) seine Fahrtrichtung umkehrt. Mit gleichen Mitteln ist eine Fahrtrichtungsumkehr für ein in Rückenlage in Normallage umzulenkendes Fahrzeug möglich.
