[origin: EP0033859A2] A track system having tracks (1) which are U-shaped in cross-section and guide spring-actuated toy vehicles (20-39). Over the course of the track, arcuate rising track pieces (10) are provided which guide the toy vehicle into the inverted position. Provided at the end of the arcuate track piece (10) are rails (18a) which are contacted by the wheels (e.g. 23a) of the vehicle (23), which is in the inverted position, with their running surfaces which are at the top in the normal position. The wheels (23a) which are driven in the same direction, cause the vehicle (23) to reverse its direction of travel.
