[origin: EP0033971A2] Draining device for a pyrolysis installation for the treatment of waste products within an oven comprising an upright container (1), in which the carbonised matter is delivered in the upper part; this container has, in its lower part, a blocking mechanism (8) preventing the sliding of the carbonised matter; the height of the container is such that the carbonised matter at the inside forms a tight layer. A device allows to maintain temperature at a value equal or greater than 250`C in the upper part of the column of carbonised matter over such a length that no diffusion of components likely to condensate can take place above. Such a draining device does not use water as a tight layer, it is equally tight for pressures within the pyrolysis installation as for the depression within the oven.
