[origin: WO8100548A1] The machine for tying up parcels is arranged between a supplying carrier belt (1) and an evacuating carrier belt (4), and comprises a frame (5), a transport means (8) and a knotting device (6). The parcel is tied up by a bond (7) knotted underneath the parcel. To tie up the parcel during its travel, the knotting device is movable in the frame (5) and driven reciprocatingly by a motor (28); on both sides of the tying up surface, there is arranged a carrier belt (10) which receives the parcel at its arrival and, after tying up during the displacement of the knotting device, delivers the parcel to the evacuating belt (4).
