Device for measured filling of a strongly viscous paste from a storage vessel into a cylindrical container (14) to be filled, with a filling tube (13) which can dip into the container (14) and has shut-off means, through which the paste is driven during the filling operation by means of a piston (7) out of an intermediate vessel (5) into the container (14) to filled, while the piston (7) has a cross sectional area which corresponds to that of the container (14), and with a filling conduit (4) with shut-off means, connecting the storage vessel with the intermediate vessel (5), characterized in that the intermediate vessel (5) is stationary, that the piston is constituted by an interchangeable plunger (7) with an axial bore, which continues via a first shut-off cock (12) into the conduit cross section of the filling tube (13), and that a second shut-off cock (3) is provided, which connects the filling conduit (4) with the intermediate vessel (5).
