1. Rotary tool comprising a rotary head in which a ring (12) having teeth is supported and which contains a catch element (41) engaging the teeth of the ring (12) and sliding beyond said teeth in one sense of rotation of the ring (12), while it lockingly engages them in the other sense of rotation, characterized in that the catch element (41) is supported via a first joint (41, 44, 45) by a pressure rod (46) movable in a channel (51) of the rotary head (10), and that the pressure rod (46) being supported via a second joint (47, 48, 49) at the rear end wall (50) of the channel (51) forms together with the catch element (41) a toggle lever system (21).

Eine Ratsche (21) für einen Kraftschraüber besteht aus einem Verzahnungssegment (41), das am Umfang eines mit dem Schraubenkopf zu verbindenden Ringes (12) angreift und über ein Druckstück (46) an einem Ansatz (18) des Schlüsselkopfes (10) abgestützt ist. Das Verzahnungssegment (41) bildet mit dem Druckstück (46) einen Kniehebelmechanismus, der die Mitnahme des Ringes (12) ausschließlich in der einen Drehrichtung bewirkt.
