In a process and apparatus for the electrophotographic preparation of half-tone colour copies from an original in which at least three colour separation images are copied on top of one another successively onto an image carrier material and developed, during the entire copying process a photoconductive layer (5), the image carrier material (1) and a projection device (9) are mounted in a rigid arrangement with respect to one another and the charging units combined with the exposure units (19), further charging units (20), exposure orifices (21) with colour separation filter discs (36) and exposure shutters (37) and developing units (22) with air nozzles (35) are mounted together in a unit (16) which is mobile with respect to the rigid arrangement (5, 9) and are used in this way. <IMAGE>

In einem Verfahren und einer Vorrichtung zur elektrophotographischen Herstellung von Farb-Halbtonkopien von einer Vorlage, in welcher mindestens drei Farbauszugsbilder nacheinander auf ein Bildträgermaterial übereinander kopiert und entwickelt werden, ist während des gesamten Kopierprozesses eine Photoleiterschicht (5), das Bildträgermaterial (1) und eine Projektionseinrichtung (9) in einer zueinander starren Anordnung untergebracht und die mit den Belichtungseinheiten (19) kombinierten Aufladeeinheiten, weitere Aufladeeinheiten (20), Belichtungsöffnungen (21) mit Farbauszugsfilterscheiben (36) und Belichtungsblenden (37) und Entwicklungseinheiten (22) mit Luftdüsen (35) sind zusammen in einer gegenüber der starren Anordnung (5, 9) beweglichen Einheit (16) untergebracht und werden so verwendet.
