A training device for practising the most varied tennis strokes in all directions and strengths has a bar (1) which is provided at one end with a ball (18) and is rotatable at the other end about an axle (3) and between lateral guide discs (11, 11') and is provided with at least one fastening means (4), which is arranged to the side of a lateral guide disc (11) and preferably perpendicular to the axle (3), and with a resetting device (2) for the bar (1). For this purpose, the bar (1) is connected to a spring member (2) and each fastening means (4) is connected to at least one spring member (2) which can be arranged on the bar (1) at varying distances from the axle (3). Ein Tennistechniktrainer zum Üben der verschiedensten Tennisschläge in allen Schlagrichtungen und Schlagstärken weist erfindungsgemäss einen Stab (1) auf, der an einem Ende mit einem Ball (18) versehen ist und mit dem anderen Ende um eine Achse (3) und zwischen Seitenführungsscheiben (11, 11') drehbar ist und mit mindestens einem Befestigungsmittel (4), das seitlich eine Seitenführungsscheibe (11) und vorzugsweise senkrecht zur Achse (3) angeordnet ist und mit einer Rückstelleinrichtung (2) für den Stab (1) versehen ist. Hierzu ist der Stab (1) mit einem Federglied (2) verbunden und jedes Befestigungsmittel (4) ist mit mindestens einem Federglied (2) verbunden, das in unterschiedlichem Abstand von der Achse (3) an dem Stab (1) anordenbar ist. Zusätzlich kann eine Seitenführungsscheibe (11 oder 11') axial verschiebbar über eine von mindestens einem Federglied (2) eingeleitete Kraft auf das um die Achse drehbare Lager des Stabes eine Bremskraft ausüben.
