[origin: WO8100866A1] Control device for controlling the rotation speed of the spindles (2) of a roving frame fitted with spindles (2) and fly-wheels (7). The control comprises a variator (28) with a continuous adjustment, and which is adjusted by a step by step rotary control shaft (36). The control shaft (36) is driven by a servo-motor (39) which receives pulses from a control (37) comprising a regulator of the programmed order value and a correction means (60). In a particularly appropriate alternative, the correction means (60) is provided as a cross-bar distributor (65). This device is particularly useful for the operator and allows specially and extremely precise adjustment of the rotation speed of the spindles. This adjusting operation may be effected during running of the roving frame.
