1. A contacting clamp for connecting an electrical conductor (14) to a contact element, in particular to an electrode, comprising two clamping components (1, 2) which are mounted so as to be pivotable about an axis (3) in opposite directions to one another and between which a spring (23) acts to press together the front ends (6, 7) of the clamping components (1, 2), which serve to clamp the contact element, so long as the rear ends (10, 11) of the clamping components (1, 2), which are arranged on the other side of the axis (3), are not pressed together by hand in order to open the clamping connection, and comprising clamping jaws (6, 7) at the front ends of the clamping components (1, 2), which clamping jaws (6, 7) abut against the contact element in the clamped state under the action of force, and comprising an electrical connection inside one of the clamping components (1, 2) which electrically connects the electrical conductor (14) to the assigned clamping jaws (6, 7), and comprising respective box-shaped chambers (19, 21), which are open on one side, in the rear ends of the clamping components (1, 2), which chambers (19, 21) are so constructed and so mutually spatially arranged that they movably interlock during rotary movements of the clamping components (1, 2), wherein the one chamber (19) by means of its opening (22) projects into the opening (22) of the other chamber (21) in each clamping component position, so that in each clamping component position between the clamped and the opened state, an extensive sealing of the internal space with respect to the outside by the interlocking chambers (19, 21), and wherein the spring (23) for forcing apart the rear ends (10, 11) of the clamping components (1, 2) which are to be manually operated, is arranged in the chambers (19, 21), characterized in that the clamping components (1, 2), together with the chambers (19, 21), are manufactured as injection moulded synthetic resin components ; and that, at the front ends, the injection moulded components carry partially extrusion-coated clamping plates (4, 5) which are arranged on the sides of the clamping components (1, 2) and formed with notches (8, 9) and thereby serve as said clamping jaws (6, 7).

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Kontaktklammer zum Verbinden eines elektrischen Leiters mit einem Kontaktteil, insbesondere Elektrode, die zwei nach Art einer Zange um eine Achse gegensinnig zueinander schwenkbar gelagerte Klemmteile aufweist, zwischen denen eine Feder angreift, die jene Enden der Klemmteile, die zum Festklemmen des Kontaktteiles dienen, zusammendrückt, solange nicht zum Öffnen der Klemmverbindung die auf der anderen Seite der Achse liegenden Enden der Klemmteile von Hand zusammengedrückt werden, und von denen wenigstens eines als Leiteranschluß den elektrischen Leiter mit wenigstens einem der Festklemmenden elektrisch verbindet. Ziel der Erfindung ist es, eine Kontaktklammer zu schaffen, die gegen Bruch optimal gesichert ist und die zugleich keine Probleme hinsichtlich einer Reinigung aufwirft. Dieses Ziel wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß die Klemmteile (1, 2) auf der den Festklemmenden (6, 7) gegenüberliegenden Seite der Schwenkachse (3) mit je einem Hohlraum (9, 21) versehen sind, welche Hohlräume so gestaltet und räumlicn so gegeneinanaer angeordnet sind, daß sie bei Schwenkbewegungen der Klemmteile beweglich ineinandergreifen, wobei zugleich in jeder Klemmteilstellung zwischen geklemmtem und geoffnetem Zustand durch die ineinandergreifenden Hohlräume weitgehende Abdichtung des Innenraumes nach außen gewährleistet ist, und daß innerhalb dieser Hohlräume eine Feder (23) zum Spreizen der manuell zu bedienenden Enden der Klemmteile sitzt.
