Abstract (en)
In a projector having a casing constructed to be explosion-proof and encapsulated in a pressure-proof fashion, the glass retaining frame (12) for the light exit surface is rigidly connected to the casing (10). A laterally arranged opening (16) having a pressure-proof cover (17) is provided for the purpose of changing the lamp, so that there is no longer any need for the glass retaining frame (12) to be detached from the casing (10). The substantially smaller opening (16) can be produced less expensively as a detachable, but nevertheless pressure-tight connection with the casing than is true for the large glass retaining frame (12). <IMAGE>

Bei einem Scheinwerfer in explosionsgeschützter, druckfest gekapselter Gehäuseausführung ist der Glashalterahmen (12) für die Lichtaustrittsfläche fest mit dem Gehäuse (10) verbunden. Für den Lampenwechsel ist eine seitlich angeordnete Öffnung (16) mit einer druckfesten Abdeckung (17) vorgesehen, so dass hierbei nicht mehr der Glashalterahmen (12) vom Gehäuse (10) gelöst zu werden braucht. Die wesentlich kleinere Öffnung (16) kann billiger als lösbare, aber trotzdem druckdichte Verbindung mit dem Gehäuse hergestellt werden als der grosse Glashalterahmen (12).
