[origin: WO8100668A1] A medical device (1, 4) for connecting two portions of the intestine, consisting of two coupling components (1, 4, respectively) which can be connected with each other, which can be inserted in the respective ends of the two parts of the intestine, and between which - in the coupled state - these ends of the intestine can be clamped. The coupling components (1, 4) comprise connecting means which are provided with a projecting pin (2), connected with the first coupling component (1), and which fits into a continuous central aperture (3) formed in the second coupling component (4), and fixing means (5, 6) which holds the second coupling component (4) - in the coupled state - pressed against the first coupling component (1), while clamping the intervening ends of the intestine. The projecting pin (2) is made hollow internally with an internal dimension which is at least 1/3 of the external dimension of the first coupling component (1), the said cavity traversing the entire length of coupling component (1). The pin (2) has a sliding fit in the central aperture (3). The fixing means consisting of magnets (5, 6) are located in the parts of the coupling components (1, 4) which face each other in the coupled state, adjacent to the projecting pin (2) in the first coupling component (1), and adjacent to the central aperture (3) in the second coupling component (4), respectively.

Dispositif medical (1, 4) de connexion de deux parties de l'intestin, comprenant deux elements d'accouplement (1, 4, respectivement) qui peuvent etre relies l'un a l'autre, et inseres dans les extremites respectives des deux parties de l'intestin, et entre lesquelles - a l'etat accouple - les extremites de l'intestin peuvent etre fixees. Les elements d'accouplement (1, 4) comprennent des moyens de connexion qui sont pourvus d'une goupille saillante (2), reliee au premier element d'accouplement (1), et qui s'ajuste dans une ouverture centrale continue (3) formee dans le second element d'accouplement (4), et des moyens de fixation (5, 6) qui maintiennent le second element d'accouplement (4) - a l'etat accouple - comprimes contre le premier element d'accouplement (1), tout en fixant les extremites intermediaires de l'intestin. La goupille saillante (2) est creuse avec une dimension interne qui est au moins egale a 1/3 de la dimension externe du premier element d'accouplement (1), ladite cavite traversant toute la longueur de l'element d'accouplement (1). La goupille (2) s'ajuste par coulissement dans l'ouverture centrale (3).
