Air classifier, especially upward-flow air classifier, zigzag-flow air classifier or classifier having a cylindrical classifying chamber confined by a circular cover and/or bottom wall, the classifier being equiped with means for cleaning inner walls of the classifying chamber from adhering material, characterized in that walls (15, 20, 21) of the classifying chamber, which are exposed to the risk of material adherence, are extended beyond the limits of the classifying chamber and are slidable in the direction of their extension, within their straight or curved plane, each in respect of at least one stationary cleasing edge (16, 22 to 25) on a stationary wall (1) of the classifying chamber, by means of a sliding drive unit (17).
