Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0037903A1] 1. Device for applying a cream-like preparation onto a surface, e. g. shoe cream onto a shoe, with a container (110) with a displaceable valve (112) containing the preparation under pressure, and having a dome-like carrier (113) firmly placed onto the pressurised container (110) with a carrier surface (113b) for an applicator element (117) and with a connection element (115) actuating the displaceable valve (112) and having an aperture for the cream-like preparation, which connection element can be connected with one end to the displaceable valve (112), and whose other end projects into an aperture (120) of the carrier surface, characterised in that the end of the connection element (115) projecting into the aperture (120) in the carrier surface (113b) is provided with a plate (115a) lying in the plane of the carrier surface in its rest position, and in that the aperture (120) in the carrier surface and the plate (115a) are so formed that a displaceable movement of the connection element (115) in a predetermined direction is made possible, but during application of the cream-like preparation, a displaceable movement of this type is prevented by a pressure exerted on the applicator element (117).
