Device for affixing to objects adhesive labels provisionally attached to a support strip equipped with an anti-adhesive coating, which comprises means for separating the labels from the adhesive strip. This device additionally comprises a pressing element (18) which has a working face into which channels connected to a partial-vacuum source lead, and means for displacing this element (18) from a first position in which its working face is in contact with the label (2) which has just been separated from the strip (3), to a second position in which this working face presses the label onto the article to be labelled. <IMAGE>

Dispositif pour apposer sur des objets des étiquettes adhésives provisoirement fixées sur une bande de support munie d'un revêtement anti-adhésif, qui comprend des moyens pour séparer les étiquettes de la bande adhésive. Ce dispositif comprend en outre, un élément de pressage (18) présentant une face de travail dans laquelle débouchent des canaux reliés à une source de dépression, et des moyens pour déplacer cet élément (18) d'une première position dans laquelle sa face de travail se trouve au contact de l'étiquette (2) venant d'être séparée de la bande, (3) à une seconde position dans laquelle cette face de travail presse l'étiquette sur l'objet à étiqueter.
