Abstract (en)
This felt is of the type comprising a central canvas sandwiched between two fibre sheets to which it is integrally attached by needling, and consisting of a series of threads which are not bonded to each other but are assembled temporarily by a destructible thread. The central canvas consists of two superposed sheets of warp threads (7) and (2) situated on either side of a sheet of weft fibres (3) and sandwiched between two fibre sheets (4). <IMAGE>

Ce feutre est du type comportant un canevas central pris en sandwich entre deux voiles de fibres dont il est rendu solidaire par aiguilletage et constitué de séries de fils non liés entre eux mais assemblés provisoirement par un fil destructible. Le canevas central est constitué de deux nappes superposées de fils de chaîne (7) et (2) situées de part et d'autre d'une nappe de fibres de trame (3) et prise en sandwich entre deux voiles de fibres (4).
