A power drive (10) for directly switching on and off a low-voltage protective switch (1), comprising a motor (22) and a transmission (23), the drive shaft (24) of which carries a crank arm (25) which acts on the protective switch (1) at approximately 180 degrees rotation for each actuating operation, and an additional manually-operated member acting on the transmission, characterized in that the manually-operated member is a rotatable knob (37) which is rigidly coupled to the drive shaft (24) of the transmission (23) ; and that a freewheel clutch (29) is arranged between the drive shaft (24) and the remaining parts of the power drive (10).
