1. A grinding plant comprising a rotating horizontally arranged grinding drum (4) on whose one end an axial entrance opening (3) and on whose other end an axial delivery opening (12) are provided, characterised in that the delivery opening (12) runs into a rotating rotationally symmetrically designed delivery chamber (20, 46) arranged coaxially with the grinding drum (4), whose shell parts (22, 23, 25) conveying the grinding stock extend from a level below the delivery opening as far as to such a high level above the delivery opening (12) that it can be conveyed to subsequently arranged follow-on machines (17) without the help of an additional upwards conveyor, and that the delivery chamber (20, 46) comprises a pick-up means (31, 32, 35) for the grinding stock above the delivery opening (12).

Bei einer Mahlanlage mit einer rotierenden, liegend angeordneten Mahltrommel (4) ist an einem Ende der Mahltrommel eine axiale Eintrittsöffnung (3) und am anderen Ende der Trommel eine axiale Austragsöffnung (12) vorgesehen, wobei die Mahlanlage eine das Mahlgut von der Austragsöffnung (12) der Mahltrommel auf ein Niveau oberhalb der Austragsöffnung fördernde Fördereinrichtung (20) aufweist. Um der Mahltrommel nachgeordnete Folgemaschinen (17) auf gleicher Ebene (41) wie die Mahltrommel (4) und zusammen mit der Mahltrommel auf möglichst kleiner Grundfläche anordnen zu können und so minimale Förderweglängen für das Mahlgut zu ermöglichen, mündet die Austragsöffnung (12) in eine um eine etwa horizontale Achse rotierende, rotationssymmetrisch ausgebildete Austragskammer (20), deren das Mahlgut fördernde Mantelteile (22,23) sich von einem Niveau unterhalb bis zu einem Niveau oberhalb der Austragsöffnung (12) erstrecken, und besitzt die Austragskammer(20) oberhalb der Austragsöffnung (12) eine Abnahmeeinrichtung (32) für das Mahlgut.
