Die Erfindung betrifft einen Füllkörper für den Wärmeaustausch von Stoffen, insbesondere für die Abkühlung von Wasser durch Luft im Kreuz- und/oder Gegenstrom in Kühltürmen. Der Füllkörper besteht aus übereinandergeschichteten und an den Berührungsstellen miteinander verbundenen Platten (3), in denen im Querschnitt vieleckige offene Kanäle (2) mit verwundenen Wandflächen (1) geformt sind.
