[origin: US4391884A] A process for the production of a photographic color image by the silver dye bleach process, using a photographic material which comprises, on a base, at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, which can contain a diffusion-resistant bleachable image dye, and immediately above this layer, on the side facing the light source, a silver halide-free layer containing a diffusion-resistant, bleachable image dye. The process gives very sharp photographic color images.

Verfahren zur Herstellung eines photographischen Farbbildes nach dem Silberfarbbleichverfahren unter Verwendung von photographischen Materialien, die auf einem Träger (S) mindestens eine lichtempfindliche Silberhalogenidemulsionsschicht (C1, M2), welche gegenbenenfalls einen diffusionsfesten, bleichbaren Bildfarbstoff enthält, und unmittelbar darüber, auf der der Lichtquelle zugewandten Seite, eine von Silberhalogenid freie, einen diffusionsfesten, bleichbaren Bildfarbstoff enthaltende Schicht (C2, M3) enthalten. Das Verfahren liefert photographische Farbbilder hoher Bildschärfe.
