1. A purpose-made slope block for building retaining walls or sound-insulating walls, slope revetments and the like with any inclination and possibly planted, with a single type of block, these blocks being able to be placed with gaps or adjoining and having parallel lateral faces (1, 2), a depression (3) at the top and a base adapted to the top of the block, characterised in that the depression (3) at the top is bounded at the front and back by a web (5, 6) directed obliquely upwards in each case, that the projecting portion of the off-set bottom surface (7) fits positively into the depression (3) at the top, that the rear recess in the bottom surface (7) is so constructed that it is supported positively on the rear web (6) of the block placed below in each case, and that the inclination of the front (8) of the block amounts to about 60 degrees and that of the back (9) of the block amounts to about 75 degrees to the horizontal.

Der Böschungsformstein, der zur Errichtung und/oder Befestigung von Böschungen dient und der vornehmlich aus Beton gefertigt ist, weist eine solche, mit Vorsprüngen und Einkerbungen versehene Form auf, daß er sich beim Versetzen mit dem oder den jeweils benachbarten auch ohne Mörtel so fest verzahnt, daß die so errichtete Wand auch größere Seitenkräfte sicher aufnehmen kann. Dabei kann dieser Stein in den verschiedensten Lagen, auf Luke oder auf Stoß versetzt werden, so daß auch Mauern, die in verschiedenen Steigungswinkeln verlaufen, erstellt werden können. Bei auf Luke übereinander versetzten Steinen können die Zwischenräume mit Erdreich verfüllt und mit Blumen oder Strauchwerk bepflanzt werden. Satteldachförmig erstellte Böschungsmauern stellen vorzügliche Schallschutzdämme dar. Der Böschungsformstein weist planparallele Seitenflächen und eine oberseitige Mulde (3) mit ebenem Boden (4) auf, die vorder- und rückseitig mit je einem schräg aufwärts gerichteten Steg (5, 6) begrenzt ist; die parallel zum Muldenboden (4) verlaufende abgesetzte Grundfläche, deren erhabener vorderer Teil (7) entspricht in seinem Profil dem der Mulde (3) und deren Absatzhöhe der der oberseitigen Begrenzungsstege (5, 6) und die Neigung der Steinvorderseite (8) verläuft im Winkel von 60 Grad und die der Rückseite (9) etwa im Winkel von 75 Grad zur Grundfläche (7).
