Bei einem Verfahren und einer Vorrichtung zur Verminderung unerwünschter Druckimpulse in Turbo-Arbeitsmaschinen ist wenigstens ein Resonatormittel (30) zur selektiven Verminderung eines Teiles eines Schaufeltones der Maschine vorgesehen. Das Resonatormittel (30) ist an der Stelle (18) des kleinsten Abstandes zwischen dem Gehäuse (12) und dem Laufrad (14) angeordnet.
