Method for conveying a container (4) and the foil (3), in which in order to prevent a relative movement between container (4) and foil (3) from the punching station to the sealing station, the container (4) and the foil (3) are connected to each other in a punctiform manner at the punching station. Verfahren zur Förderung eines zur Verschliessung mittels Siegelung bestimmten Behälters (4) und der zu dieser Verschliessung dienenden ausgestanzten Folie (3), wobei zur Verhinderung einer Relativbewegung zwischen Behälter (4) und Folie (3) von der Stanzstelle zur Siegelstelle der Behälter (4) und die Folie (3) an der Stanzstelle punktförmig miteinander verbunden werden. Zur Durchführung dieses Verfahrens dient eine Einrichtung, bei welcher innerhalb eines Stanzwerkzeuges (5) und coaxial zu diesem beweglich angeordnete Mittel (6-8) zur Herstellung der Verbindung vorgesehen sind.
