[origin: WO8101274A1] A generator (10) is provided powered by the rotating wheel of a bicycle, for producing power for lamps (36, 38) for the bicycle. The cycles of the voltage, which are related to distance travel, are converted to digital form for use in counting and timing circuit to display speed and traveled distance. A rechargeable battery (13) is also provided for the lighting circuit, with an automatic changeover switch (21) for charging the battery and energizing the lamps (36, 38) when the generator voltage is sufficiently high.

Generateur actionne par la rotation de la roue d'une bicyclette, pour la production d'electricite pour le phare (36, 38) de la bicyclette. Les cycles de la tension, en relation avec le parcours effectue, sont convertis sous forme numerique de sorte a etre utilises dans le circuit de comptage et de synchronisation pour afficher la vitesse et la distance parcourues. Une batterie rechargeable est aussi prevue pour le circuit d'eclairage, avec un commutateur de transission automatique commandant le chargement de la batterie et la mise sous tension des phares (36, 38) lorsque la tension du generateur est suffisamment elevee.
