Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0040382A1] 1. Sheet-wound coil (21, 22) for a transformer with an insulating liquid or a reactor with an insulating liquid with at least one cooling element (10, 25, 26, 27, 28) disposed between two consecutive turns or sections of such two turns of the coil sheet (30, 31) or within the innermost turn of the coil sheet or outside the outermost turn of the coil sheet, which cooling element comprises elongated parallel spacers (11), being connected with one another and being laterally spaced apart from one another and keeping apart said two turns or sections of said two turns of the sheet to form channels (32, 33) between the two turns, or which cooling elements form channels within the innermost turn of the sheet, or which cooling elements form channels outside the outermost turn of the sheet, all these channels being provided to conduct insulating liquid from one endface of the sheet-wound coil to its other endface, whereby the spacers (11) are laterally joined by connecting means (12) each connecting means being spaced from the mathematical planes in which the sheet-confronting faces of the spacers (11) are located, characterized in that the cooling element (10) consists of a plate of pressboard (13), in which grooves (16, 18) are provided from both sides, so that the material remaining at the sides of the grooves constitutes the spacers (11) and the material remaining at the bottom of the grooves constitutes said connecting means (12).
