Control device for an air valve (47) arranged in the charge-air duct of a supercharged diesel engine, in particular a diesel engine supercharged by means of a pressure-wave supercharger, having a shut-off valve (12, 22) which is inserted into the flow path between a supply line (6) branching off from a pressurised-oil line of the diesel engine and an oil return line (7), the supply line being connected to a pressurisation space (31) for an operating piston (27) which actuates the air valve and is loaded on the other side by a continuously acting force and, to subject the operating piston (27) to oil pressure in the opening direction of the air valve (47), the shut-off valve (12, 22) is actuable by a control piston (19) loaded by the pressure in the charge-air duct counter to the force of a spring (20), characterised in that, when oil pressure for subjecting the operating piston (27) to oil pressure is present, the shut-off valve (12, 22) inserted between the pressurisation space (31) and the oil return line (7) can be moved in a control fashion by the charge-air pressure in the charge-air duct out of its opening position into its closing position and the closed shut-off valve (12, 22) can be moved in a controlled fashion out of its closing position into its opening position by the spring force only if oil pressure for relieving the oil pressure on the operating piston (27) is absent. <IMAGE>

Stellgerät für eine in der Ladeluftleitung eines insbesondere mittels eines Druckwellen-Aufladegerätes aufgeladenen Dieselmotors angeordnete Luftklappe (47) mit einem Absperrventil (12, 22), das in den Strömungsweg zwischen einer von einer Druckölleitung des Dieselmotors abzweigenden Beaufschlagungsleitung (6) und einer Ölrücklaufleitung (7) eingeschaltet ist, wobei die Beaufschlagungsleitung an einen Beaufschlagungsraum (31) für einen die Luftklappe betätigenden Stellkolben (27) angeschlossen ist, der anderseits von einer ständig wirkenden Kraft belastet ist und das Absperrventil (12, 22) zur Öldruckbeaufschlagung des Stellkolbens (27) in Öffnungsrichtung der Luftklappe (47) von einem vom Druck in der Ladeluftleitung entgegen der Kraft einer Feder (20) belasteten Steuerkolben (19) betätigbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das zwischen dem Beaufschlagungsraum (31) und der Ölrücklaufleitung (7) geschaltete Absperrventil (12, 22) bei vorhandenem Öldruck zur Öldruckbeaufschlagung des Stellkolbens (27) vom Ladeluftdruck in der Ladeluftleitung aus seiner Öffnungsstellung in seine Schließstellung und das geschlossene Absperrventil (12, 22) nur bei fehlendem Öldruck zur Öldruckentlastung des Stellkolbens (27) von der Federkraft aus seiner Schließstellung in die Öffnungsstellung steuerbar ist.
