[origin: WO8101792A1] Frames filled with air are known for water cushions, chambers and mattresses for floatation but they have the disadvantage to collapse if the air chamber is damaged. The invention is characterized by the use of a spongy material to form the parts (2) of the frame instead of the inflatable air chambers. These parts (2) are provided so that the frame may be folded into a small volume for transportation and storage. In operating position, the frame forms a tight closing around the water cushion, -chamber or-mattress (6) which is arranged therein and can not collapse. Accessories for medical care may be attached to the foldable foam-frame with needles or clips, without causing the collapse of the frame.

On connait des encadrements remplis d'air pour coussin, chambre et matelas a eau pour la flotation. Mais ils presentent l'inconvenient de s'affaisser si la chambre a air est endommagee. L'invention est caracterisee par l'utilisation d'une matiere spongieuse pour former les parties (2) de l'encadrement a la place des chambres a air gonflables. Ces parties (2) sont construites pour que le cadre puisse etre plie en un petit volume pour le transport et l'entreposage. En position d'utilisation, le cadre forme un barrage etanche autour du coussin, de la chambre ou du matelas a eau (6) qui y est place et ne peut pas s'affaisser. Des accessoires pour soins medicaux peuvent etre fixes a l'encadrement repliable en matiere spongieuse a l'aide d'aiguilles ou d'agrafes, sans provoquer l'effondrement de l'encadrement.
