Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0043504A1] 1. Exterior wall casing for the combustion air and exhaust gas channels (2, 1) of an apparatus working with a burner system, such as especially a heating apparatus, a hot-water heater, a refrigerator or the like, set-up in a movable room into the box-like chamber (18) of which the two channels (2, 1), placed one above the other, enter through a floor wall (7) and the exhaust gas channel (1) is prolonged into the interio of the box-like chamber (18) through a discharge pipe connection (15) while the combustion air channel (2) terminates in the floor wall (7), an outlet orifice (17) of this pipe connection (15) is surrounded by frame walls (23, 24, 25) which are spaced apart from it and rise above this outlet orifice (17) as well as above an exterior surface (28) of a room wall receiving the wall casing and the outlet and inlet orifices of these two channels are protected from each other by a partition wall (25) in the interior of the box-like chamber, characterized in that a cover plate (30) having at least the size of the surface of the orifice (17) is placed in front of the outlet orifice (17) of the exhaust gas channel (1) at a distance which is larger than the height of the frame walls (23, 24, 25), that the cover plate (30) is connected on one side over its entire width with the upper frame wall (23) and on the other side with the partition wall (25) and that the upper and side frame walls (23, 24, 25) surround the outlet orifice (17) outside of the cover plate (30).
