A low-temperature heating element with the following features : 1.1 having an elongate flat-section member (1) of aluminium, through which passes a cylindrical opening (2) in the longitudinal direction, 1.2 having a tube (3) of aluminium, where appropriate of copper for a fluid heat carrier, the diameter of which is greater than the thickness of the flat-section member, and the flat-section member is enlarged in the region of the tube in such a way that the tube is completely enclosed, and 1.3 having heat-exchanging parallel tubes (5) of aluminium which are inserted in the flat-section member, characterized in that 1.4 the flat-section member (1) has bores (4) for the parallel tubes (5) which [bores] extend on both sides of the cylindrical recess (2) at right angles thereto and which are preferably arranged in two rows, the bores of adjacent rows being displaced relative to one another in a manner known per se by half the centre-to-centre distance in each case, 1.5 the flat-section member (1) capable of being combined with further flat-section members in such a way that 1.51 a plurality of flat-section members (1) capable of being arranged in rows one above the other by connexion to the parallel tubes (5), the length of the parallel tubes being dimensioned such that they each project from the upper and lower flat-section members by a portion which corresponds approximately to the distance of the flat-section members from one another, and 1.52 the flat-section members capable of being arranged in rows against each other, the connexion points are provided with a tongue-and-groove guide (7) and the length of the tube (3) is dimensioned in each case such that it corresponds to the length of the flat-section members arranged in rows against each other.
