Abstract (en)
A fabric containing viscose fibres is subjected to cross-linking by curing of a cyclic alkylene urea-aldehyde derivatives followed by mercerisation with a 10 - 40% NaOH solution and then generally further cross-linking with a final cross-linking agent. It is possible to obtain products having good dyeability, soft handle and good wet and dry crease resistance.
