The garage door has a plurality of door-leaf sections (9) which are connected to one another by means of joints with horizontal pivot pins and which are guided laterally in rails (4) of a frame, the last section in each case being connected to a spring (17) via a cable pull (12). The spring (17) and cable pull (12) serve for weight balancing during the opening and closing. Instead of torsion-spring shafts, a tension spring (17) is used in such a way that the cable pull (12) is guided over rollers (14, 15) of a pulley block, to one roller (15) of which is connected the tension spring (17), the other end of which is fastened to the frame (2). <IMAGE>

Das-Garagentor besitzt mehrere über Gelenke mit horizontalen Gelenkachsen aneinander angeschlossene Torblattsectionen (9), die seitlich in Schienen (4) eines Zargenrahmens geführt sind, wobei die jeweils letzte Section über einen Seilzug (12) an eine Feder (17) angeschlossen ist. Feder (17) und Seilzug (12) dienen zum Gewichtsausgleich beim Öffnen und Schließen. Anstelle von Torsionsfederwellen wird eine Zugfeder (17) in der Weise eingesetzt, daß der Seilzug (12) über Rollen (14, 15) eines Flaschenzuges geführt ist, an dessen einer Rolle (15) die Zugfeder (17) angeschlossen ist, deren anderes Ende am Zargenrahmen (2) befestigt ist.
