1. A furnace for heat treatment of glass sheets, particularly for heating these sheets to the temperature required for curving and/or tempering, formed of a framework comprising, especially, intersecting sections to which are fixed wall elements formed of an insulating body carrying electric heating members, the furnace being characterised in that at least one of its walls comprises an assembly of elements (12) of small dimensions relative to the surface area of the wall, each element (12) being formed of a plate provided on its rear surface with a support (15, 16, 17), a plurality of these elements (12) being fixed to slide, by their support (15, 16, 17) on a common carrying rail (22) running along the wall, and a certain number of carrying rails (22) supporting the corresponding wall elements (12) being fixed dismountably and adjustable in position, outside the furnace, on its framework, transversely to the sections of the framework with which they make contact.

Four pour le traitement thermique de feuilles de verre, en particulier pour le chauffage de ces feuilles à la température de bombabe et/ou de trempe, constitué d'une ossature sur laquelle sont fixés des éléments de parois (12) de petite dimension, dont chacun comprend une plaque isolante munie sur sa face arrière d'un support (15,16,17), et dont certains sont porteurs d'organes de chauffage électrique. plusieurs de ces éléments (12) étant fixés de manière coulissante par leurs supports (15,16,17) sur un même rail porteur (22) courant tout le long de la paroi, un certain nombre de rails porteurs (22) supportant les éléments correspondants de paroi (12) étant fixés sur l'ossature du four, de manière démontable et réglable en position. L'invention a pour objet de perfectionner ces fours à éléments interchangeables. Elle permet de monter le four très rapidement et de remplacer les éléments défectueux avec un minimum de travail et dans un temps très court.
